Our farm consists of 55 rolling acres, with approximately 20 acres in pasture. Our large pastures give the Thoroughbreds the room they need to be a horse - grazing, running and interacting with the herd. All pastures have large run-in sheds and all of our horses have 24-hour turnout unless health reasons warrant stall rest. We have found this makes a very happy, healthy horse, both mentally and physically.
Additionally, we grow our own organic hay on the remaining acreage. Consisting of primarily mixed grass, this hay provides great nutrition for our horses year round. And our quality is so good, we won 1st place at the Allentown Fair in 2006 in the mixed grass category!
Our main bank barn was built in 1879. It currently has 4 large 13’x13’ stalls as well as two foaling stalls that are 13’x24’. Next to the main barn is another small barn with 2 10’x12’ stalls. And we have recently added a shed with 2 12’ x 12’ stalls. Farther out on our property is another wonderful stone bank barn that will be remodeled in the future for additional stalls.
We have an outdoor riding arena that is 150’x80’. It’s size is ideal for retraining racehorses to become hunter/jumpers. We also have several trails around our property for riding. Our farm is conveniently located only 10 minutes from Green Lane Park, which has miles of horse trails to ride, and 25 minutes from Bucks County Horse Park.
Finally, our house is a wonderful stone farmhouse that was built in 1820. With our
house on the property, the horses get complete attention from us at all hours!
